Norway Northern Lights Escorted Motorhome Tour 2026

New for 2026

Our Norway Northern Lights Tour really offers a stunning once in a lifetime tour!

This special tour takes you through Germany, Denmark into Norway for the majority of this tour before returning through the length of Sweden. Stunning scenery, world famous fjords, beautiful waterfalls and glaciers make this a truly unforgettable tour. Wildlife in abundance and even the chance to see killer whales in the wild. This is exactly what this tour is about!

The tour by the nature of Norway’s geography will encompass vast parts of the landscape where there will be stunning scenery to behold. We have focused on these stunning drives, beautiful locations to visit and its about the enjoyment of this awesome landscape.

You can experience the northern lights as early as mid-September until late March. Northern Norway is dark from early evening until morning when the northern lights frequently soar across the sky.

Northern lights activity is peaking from 2024 until 2026, the aurora borealis activity is expected to reach its highest levels in 11 years!

While sightings can never be guaranteed, visiting the Lofoten Islands during this period gives you the best opportunity to witness this natural wonder.

Due to the high prices in Norway, we have kept the itinerary of meals and drinks on the low side but this doesn’t stop you enjoying as much or as little as you want, it's your holiday!

In the old days it was the job of the Night Watchman to keep the peace at night and in Ribe he also had to warn the population of impending floods. The modern police slowly took over, and the Night Watchmen in Ribe ended their work in 1902.

In 1932 it was decided to take up the Night Watchman tradition as a tourist attraction and we shall join the Night Watchman on a walking tour to hear more about the history.

This was a Viking town and there is a Viking museum to visit if you want to learn more about them.
